Gary Payne
by Brandon Robinson Photojournalist Gary Payne graduated from the University of North Texas in 1999. As a staff photographer for The Denton Record-Chronicle, Payne says his collegiate training prepared him well for a professional journalism career. Payne won the 2005 Texas Associated Press Managing Editors (AMPE) award for Photojournalist of the Year.
