Season’s First Snow Falls on Denton

Students at the University of North Texas seemed surprised when they woke up this morning. The season’s first snow came along with some cold winds.

“I was a bit surprised. I wasn’t expecting it. I let my dog out this morning,” said junior Savina Yallejo.

But the cold and wet weather seems to excite other students.

“I like the snow. It’s fun. It’s kind of a nice, a little change around Denton, said graduate student Adam Baker.

The snow melted away quickly which saddened some students who were hoping for snow ball fights. But more to come. Another cold front is predicted for Friday.  Click here to see the video.
