Where is it?

The University of North Texas was called North Texas State College in 1948 when the construction of a Journalism building was announced in the Denton Record Chronicle. This sketch shows the building plans. The Journalism building opened in 1949, complete with classrooms, the college news service, and the print shop.

Today the Journalism Department is housed in the General Access Building on the lower floor. The NTDaily offices, classrooms, and labs are all housed in the GAB.

The Journalism building of the 1950’s has been renamed and repurposed.

I believe it is the sketch on the home page. It links to this story. It should probably be on this page also though.
