Meet the Professors - Cornelius “Neil” Foote

Cornelius “Neil” Foote is an Instructional Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas. Professor Foote is not only internet savvy; he is extremely well rounded in all aspects of journalism.

Professor Foote teaches a variety of journalism classes which show his knowledge of each form of journalism. Throughout his career, he has met many prestigious people and been able to go to abundance of places.

While teaching at UNT, he is helping students prepare for the future while having fun. Professor Foote encourages students to take in technological changes and stay up to date, because that is how journalists today will survive.

He recommends a few things for the journalist today. But above all, he says to be the “go-getter” and be passionate.
